A little bit about

Forest Lodge Farm

The Wreathall family have been rearing turkeys at Forest Lodge farm for over sixty years, spanning four generations.

It all started in 1955 when Frank Wreathall moved to Essex with his three sons Henry, John and Alan.

Over sixty years later Forest Lodge continues to operate as a small, family owned business with Frank’s great grandsons, Duncan and Tom Wreathall now running the farm. Duncan and Tom are two brothers both of whom have spent their lives growing up and living on the farm, having picked up a passion and expertise for farming from their father Patrick and Grandfather Henry. From a very young age they were taught how to care for livestock and the importance of high welfare standards, something which remains at the heart of the business today.

Alongside turkey farming, Forest Lodge is also an arable farm growing a variety of different crops including wheat, barley, beans and linseed. We are passionate about the food that we produce and very proud of the farm that our family has continued to maintain over the years.
